I am doing amazing. How are you doing? I had a really amazing week. things went great and We have had a ton of fun. Hahaha and no i didn't fall off another ladder this week, but i thought about it. I know i'm totally a dork, but the good thing is my bruises are almost all gone now haha. Geez that was funny, i wish you guys could have seen that one. You would have been busting a gut. Things with Laura are going amazing. We are still teaching her and we see her about every other day. She is still reading the Book of Mormon, she has read from the introduction all the way up to chap 4 in 1 Nephi. And thats pretty amazing, most people don't even read the intro haha. She is getting along pretty well here in Geneva, its a bummer though she really lost a lot in that fire, she doesn't even have a car anymore. I'm not sure how old she is but i think in her 40's. And it is sooo cool we went to go teach her yesterday afternoon, and we taught about prayer and the proper way to say a prayer, by addressing heavenly father, expressing gratitude and asking for things, and closing in the name of Jesus Christ. So she totally prayed at the end and she did great. AND she has a baptismal date in 3 weeks, on december 26th. It will be a way nice belated christmas present! haha it is so cool, she is excited and she loves it when we come over and share more about the gospel.
Everything else with the work is going great. Ray and Jacinda Johnson are doing amazing, they are still struggling a little bit with the smoking but they are continuing to get better and better. Frank is still great, and he is so nice. Since we don't get the chance to put up a big xmas tree out here, he let us help set up a huge tree up at the mansion, it was amazing i'll send you a picture! We are still working with the Baker family and they are doing good too. We had a ward christmas party yesterday, and Elder Simmons and I along with the sister missionaries sung in the program, so the baker family came! That was a pretty big deal they all haven't been to that church in a while. Haha and it was sooo funny the lady who played piano for us is a way nice lady, but she did so terrible we looked soooo bad. It was awesome, elder simmons and i just started laughing, because it was mega awkward turtle. Hey tell jess to update my website if she hasn't, i know that was mega random but it just popped up in my head. And another cool thing that happened this week is i have been fasting that we can find more people around here to help. And it was great because yesterday, we went to contact this referral we got and we met with this Puerto Rican family. A single mom with 3 girls. And she loved having us over and now we are going to start teaching her and her girls! Its so amazing, the power of prayer and fasting together is just epic. I am happy we are going to be able to help her and her family out, she is pretty down because it is the christmas season and her family isn't all together. But we'll be able to help cheer her up and with learning the gospel she will know that she can be together forever with her family which is just the coolest thing in the world.
Oh yeah transfers are coming up next week. Hmmmm i would say hold off on sending my package till next week, because i'll know this sunday whether i am staying or going, and i don't want the package to get stuck in geneva and me be in buffalo!!! haha. I really hope i stay here another transfer too. I love it here, honestly i could serve my whole misison here and i wouldn't care if i didnt get to see anywhere else. The people here are so amazing and i love them, and i hope i can spend christmas with them. :) And don't worry about my pills just get them out quick if you can, i ran out today but i can make it a day or 2 ok.
ANd yes it has been snowing like crazy here! :D haha i love it, it looks like a marshmellow world in the winter. haha do you remember that song, its epic, but its true. And the funny thing is i have to drive in it, and it is terrifying. but we haven't died yet so i must be doing ok. it is getting pretty cold here and that wind chill factor is brutal! haha but i'll survive. You wanna hear something amazing, megan sent me a little xmas tree and 25 days of christmas! haha she is soooooo amazing i love it, its like i have a little christmas every morning haha. I'm glad you guys like her so much too and have her over. That means a lot to me mom. :) I love you so much. Well i gotta get going things are going great here, and Elder Larson wants to marry either jessica or Sam so have whichever one he emailed write him back. He is the coolest elder in the world haha, we have decided we were brothers in the preexistance. Oh and he sent a mega hilarious mega awkward email to one of them too i think it might have been sam so tell her to check. I love you guys so much and i can't wait to hear from you soon, its going to be epic!

Alright so i'll start out by telling you about my thanksgiving day haha it was pretty good. So we got up and did our normal morning thing, and then we walked around and said hi to all the people we work with to wish them a happy thanksgiving. And after we did that we called all the people we couldnt get a hold of. Haha thanksgiving is a little interesting to try and find time to see people because they are all busy doing their own thing you know? But then we had our first thanksgiving dinner over at the robinsons house. Haha geez so i was trying to help them get everything ready for it so i wasn't just being a bum on a log and i was trying to open this pomegranate, and i squeezed it a little too hard and it exploded! haha all over my white shirt and this brand new tie that megan got me! haha That was a little embarrassing but hey what can you do right? :) They were nice and washed my shirt for me while we were there and gave me another shirt to wear, so that was really cool. And i was really really grateful to be over at a familys house for thanksgiving and have someone care about us especially on thanksgiving. :) it was a good dinner too, it wasn't a huge thanksgiving dinner because they have a really big family but it was good.
And then after that thanksgiving dinner we went over to the Cleere's family house out in seneca falls. It was way cool, their house was built in 1855! Thats nuts, that before the civil war! You would have loved it mom. And over there we had dessert and we just hung out with them for a while and we played apples to apples. Haha it was way fun, they are a cool family. And then after that it was about 7, and we got together with elder larson and cox, and the seneca falls sister and we played board games up at franks mansion. :) That was so much fun haha, we played this game called quelf and it is insane!!! You have to tell kasey about it since she loves board games so much. haha it would be a perfect game for our family nights, it just makes everyone look like a fool haha, i love it.
So that was pretty much our thanksgiving, and i'm glad we had places to be and things to do. I miss you guys and thanksgiving is my favorite holiday. My favorite part is trying to make the crystal glasses ring and drive everyone crazy. :) But hey i only have 1 more thanksgiving to go!
Haha i got another funny story to tell you real quick before i get to another cool story. So on saturday we went to go help and do some service for this guy out in canandaigua with the other elders. So it was freezing, it had snowed the night before and it was just blowing wind hard and i was sooooo cold haha. We were helping him reside part of his house for the winter becasue it was so bad. And i was up on this ladder removing nails from these huge planks of wood, haha and holy crud some wind came and it threw off my balance and i came sailing down that ladder! Holy cow i can't believe i fell out of a ladder, i landed pretty dang hard but some angels must be protecting me because i didn't break anything. I just got bruised up pretty good. It was kinda funny to think about it afterward, because i looked like a goober just flying off that ladder! haha geez i am such a noob, thats why i don't do any construction work.
So another cool story is we found this amazing lady named laura bogler. She just moved into geneva about 3 weeks ago because her house burnt down in canandaigua. It is sad she lost everything and her 2 dogs. :( They were like her best friends. But she is such an amazing lady, i walked by her on the street and i just said hi and walked away, and the spirit told me i had to go back to talk to her. So I listened and we went and talked to her and asked if we could start teaching her and she said yes. And we are teaching her now, and its amazing. She already says she wants to get baptized and she is reading the book of mormon and praying. Its crazy to see how just one little choice could affect someone salvation you know? Because i could have not listened to the holy ghost, by being shy and not wanting to go talk, but if i would have done that, who knows if she would have ever accepted the gospel?
I love you mom so much and i hope you aren't bummed about me calling megan and not you guys! It wasn't even me, we were with frank and he just called her so it was crazy, but i kinda loved it at the same time. But I love you all so much and i can't wait to talk to you soon, can you believe i have almost been out 6 months and its coming on xmas?! Its crazy. haha mom i am such a wimp haha i started crying at the end of this letter. I miss you guys so much, and i am so happy i have you guys for a family. I am bummed i won't be there for thanksgiving with you all, but you are right i am out here doing what HEavenly Father wants me to do. SO you guys better have the best thanksgiving ever and send me a bunch of pictures, and of little vander too. I can't believe i am a 3 time uncle!!!!!!!!!! I love being a turlte!!!!! i mean uncle!!!!! haha man that little kid is going to be such a fireball with the genes of kasey and joel haha. I won't be suprised if the first thing he does when i see him is him punching me in the arm! haha I am so dang happy for joel and kasey they are going to be the best parents ever. ANd now reese and maddux have a new little cousin, how awesome is that. Man joel i cannot believe you are a dad, it seems just like not to long ago we were still wrestling on our trampoline in the backyard, and me leg dropping your face when you had braces on. hahah dude that was soooo funny and you know it! Wow no lie though that is crazy, everyone in our family is growing up! whats with that? o well it is al good though.
So things this week have been pretty amazing. THere is this family out here called the baker family and they love me and they are way nice. Sis baker knitted me a scarf, and she is working on making me a quilt too. Haha it is so much fun being able to get close with families out here and stuff. And then for thanksgiving we have 2 dinner appointments and then someone invited us over for dessert! Holy crud i am going to gain like 30lbs and i am going to love it haha. That will be a good day though so i am super excited about that. SO don't worry i won't be alone for thanksgivng i will be having some fun just like you guys. So another thing that was awesome this week is elder larson and i are zone leader companions so we went on this 3 day exchange and we drove all over and had to check up and see how all the other districts were doing. holy cow we had so much fun, tell joel he is pretty much my elder bailey, he is this big huge tall and thick football player guy who is just the funniest person alvie haha i love it. We were driving down one road, this may sound bad but it was way funny, we say this big possum in the road and he was like should i hit it? and i thought and i was like dude you have to do it. ahah and we did and it was so gross but it was kinda hilarious because of the face and the noises elder larson made when we made contact. hahah geeez we are bad i'm sorry but it was soooo funny. Elder Larson also tried the 3 pancake challenge and he destroyed it, i tried it again i don't know why and i got mega sick... haha.
So on a spiritual note we had a lot of good things go down this week. We had a lesson with frank and our mission presidnet. Which was awesome we were up at franks mansion with a fire going, and the mission president just helped clear up a couple problems that frank was having and it was just so cool. I also had the wonderful opportunity to give a few people priesthood blessings this week. it is crazy i give those a lot more than i thought i ever would, and it makes me realize and know how powerful the priesthood really is.
ok now to answer some of your questions.
being a zone leader is fun, but its hard sometimes when missionaries in your zone are mega disobedient.... my companion isn't spanish speaking, so i am a lone ranger out here when it comes to the spanish program. Which is hard sometimes, but i can handle it. :) haha i am doing great with my laundry, and with cooking a lot of people feed us now so i don't cook much. the mr mac slacks just kinda are bad, my suits are perfectly fine though. Brown slip on shoes, just like any cheap rockport brown shoe, just so i can change my style up a little bit. The eccos are perfect and they are great shoes, i just want a little brown in there but if not its totally cool. :) Chris and maria are doing great, especially maria she loves coming to church and relief society!
alright mom i love you but i gotta get going i gotta wirte a letter to the president! I love you guys so much and can you believe in not too long i'll have been out here for 6 months! that is 1/4 of my misison! Keep praying for me and i love you guys so much!

Holy cow mom, haha i got a letter from you sweeeeeeet! Not just a funny small email form jessicas phone! haha I am just teasing, but thanks for sending me an email anyways when you guys didn't have the computer. You are amazing. This last week was really good, it went by soooooo fast, and we did so much. It was hard near the weekend though because i caught a cold, and its hard to push through the busy days when you are feeling too well you know. Haha no lie, i had never been more tired in my life than i was on saturday and sunday. We had so much going on with planning and making sure maria's baptism went well, oh and it totally did it was amazing, i'll talk more about it in a bit. THen Elder Larson and i had to plan and train all the elders in the zone at zone conference. Then we had a meeting with the president, and just a bunch of appts with other people and just a lot of running around this week. Sooooo i am way super happy that it is pday and i can just chill for a little bit and go have some fun with some of the other elders out here.
Things with Elder Simmons are going great. He is going to be a really good missionary, and he and i work together well when we are teaching. He had broken his arm skateboarding before he came out, and today we are going to the doctors so he can get his cast removed. SO he is way excited for that to happen. Hmmmm any new and exciting news here in Geneva... well we are working with a few new people right now. One of my favorites is this old lady named SUe. She is super cool and she knitted me a beanie, and she is just a super nice old lady we met through doing some service at the catholic church, and now she just wants to know all about us and our church. We are working on finding more people right now too, espcially at the Hobart College campus. I think that we might be able to really find some people there that need the Lords help.
Ohhhh and the weather here is already soooooooooo dang cold. You guys would be freezing! I can't believe last week it was still almost 100, hahahah and i laughed when you said we had a big cool down and its in the 70's. That sounds oh so nice right now. It is usually in the 40's right now but it dips into those 30's and thats when it gets me cold haha. It hasn't really been snowing too much yet, but this next week it is really supposed to cool down and start snowing on us. brrrrrrrrrr i'm gonna freeze! haha pray for me
Frank is still doing well, and he is taking good care of us still. Its been good because since i have been in geneva for ahwile a lot of the people in the ward know and like me, so we are being taken care of pretty well in the ward too. THat is such a miracle. ANd it has been fun because i have been able to use my spanish in teaching her. It was funny too, we just met her one day and asked if we could come talk to her about church and then from that first visit she just loved it. It was cool working with her and seeing how much better her prayers got, and how much she really like relief society and everything. Its just amzing to be able to work around people and see how much better thier lives get from the gospel. So we made sure this baptism was going to be really nice, we got quite a few people from the ward there, and the whole spanish crew too that comes to church. Elder Larson and Cox came, and everything just went great. ANd i was blessed to have the chance to baptize her. That is such an honour to me that someone would want me to. ANd it is cool because now she is going to be focusing on the temple so she can get the work done for her dead husband and be sealed to him for time and all eternity. Wow thats just amazing. I love being a missionary!
So that was pretty much the highlight of the week. Baptizing Maria and having a wonderful service with everyone there from the ward helping and being great. Well i love you mom and keep on rocking, i miss you guys like crazy but i love being out here. I mean i have already been out here for a little over 5 months! Crazy. I'm doing amazing, how are you doing?! :D My new companion elder simmons is pretty cool, he is from billings montana. He used to be a skateboarder at home. He is way super excited for everything we are doing which is really cool, and anyone we see or walk by he walks right up and talks to them, so that is pretty awesome. Yeah and our last week was great we had a lot of fun. Haha holy cow though we were driving home around 9 pm, heading home, and as i was driving through an intersection some crazy lady just jumped in front of our car!!!!!!! Holy cow mom, i cranked on that wheel so hard and fast and i was just ready for us to hit her, but somehow we missed her by like a milimeter haha it was sooooooooo freaky. I know Heavenly Father was looking out for us there, because we should have ran into her because she literally just jumped in front of the car and somehow we got out of the way. Haha how bad would that have been if i actually did hit her, with Elder Simmons his 2nd day in the missionfield, holy cow that would have been bad. But i prayed for awhile that night to thank Heavenly Father for saving us and that person. WHew that was crazy.
Being a zone leader is pretty fun. My zone leader COmpanion is ELder Larson and he is just the funniest person of all time haha. He reminds me a ton of joel's companion elder bailey. Haha i love it and since we are zone leaders together we get to go travel around all the areas in our zone to see how they are doing and spend some fun time together so that is pretty fun. Being a trainer too is a little different, because i am this missionaries first view and picture of what our mission is like you know? And i just really want to do my best so elder simmons can love it out here and continure to be a good missionary throughout. So i am doing all i can to be the best trainer i can. Its pretty cool seeing how he teaches and where i can help him with it. Its a lot of fun. THis is going to be a really fun transfer. :)
Oh and yes things are still set for our baptism on the 13th! Woo Hoo its going to be amazing! haha i am just so excited because Maria is such an awesome spanish lady and she just loves and embraces the gospel. It is sooooo cool mom, i love it. And it will be a really good experience for elder simmons to participate in a baptism so early in his misison too, it will pump him up for sure. So keep Maria in your prayers, everything with it is still on track, but extra help is nice because satan is out here working just as hard.
Haha yes mom it is getting cold here. It was in the low 40's for most of last week, and it snowed a little bit one of the days. But the good thing is they have an indian summer out here, which is just some point in the winter it warms up and that's happening next week so i am way excited about that. haha i'm such a wimp to the cold, but there are so many place to get winter stuff and i already have alot so i'll be warm.
I'm sorry that jess lost her job, that is never good. WHy did that happen? I'm glad she is feeling a lot better though. It sounded like she was going to die in the last email you guys sent me about her! Maddux thinking Jesus is batman may be one of the funniest things i have ever heard in my entire life! haha holy cow that is soooo funny, i love him and reese so dang much. I look at pictures of them on my wall every night. And i can't wait to see pictures of vander, he is going to be a stud and probably punch joel in the arm in the way out like he always use to punch me. Being a zone leader is pretty fun. My zone leader COmpanion is ELder Larson and he is just the funniest person of all time haha. He reminds me a ton of joel's companion elder bailey. Haha i love it and since we are zone leaders together we get to go travel around all the areas in our zone to see how they are doing and spend some fun time together so that is pretty fun. Being a trainer too is a little different, because i am this missionaries first view and picture of what our mission is like you know? And i just really want to do my best so elder simmons can love it out here and continure to be a good missionary throughout. So i am doing all i can to be the best trainer i can. Its pretty cool seeing how he teaches and where i can help him with it. Its a lot of fun. THis is going to be a really fun transfer. :)
Oh and yes things are still set for our baptism on the 13th! Woo Hoo its going to be amazing! haha i am just so excited because Maria is such an awesome spanish lady and she just loves and embraces the gospel. It is sooooo cool mom, i love it. And it will be a really good experience for elder simmons to participate in a baptism so early in his misison too, it will pump him up for sure. So keep Maria in your prayers, everything with it is still on track, but extra help is nice because satan is out here working just as hard.
Haha yes mom it is getting cold here. It was in the low 40's for most of last week, and it snowed a little bit one of the days. But the good thing is they have an indian summer out here, which is just some point in the winter it warms up and that's happening next week so i am way excited about that. haha i'm such a wimp to the cold, but there are so many place to get winter stuff and i already have alot so i'll be warm.
I'm sorry that jess lost her job, that is never good. WHy did that happen? I'm glad she is feeling a lot better though. It sounded like she was going to die in the last email you guys sent me about her! Maddux thinking Jesus is batman may be one of the funniest things i have ever heard in my entire life! haha holy cow that is soooo funny, i love him and reese so dang much. I look at pictures of them on my wall every night. And i can't wait to see pictures of vander, he is going to be a stud and probably punch joel in the arm in the way out like he always use to punch me. Happy Late Halloween! Yeah yesterday was a pretty awesome day. We weren't allowed really to do anything for halloween yesterday, but on Friday night we were able to go to the trunk or treat with a couple of our investigators and have fun and hang out there. It was pretty awesome, we got our faces painted, and we got to talk with a lot of people and just have fun. It was pretty awesome. Especially this one guy named Wing Liu, haha he is pretty much amazing. His whole family is active but he isn't, so i am hoping we can get him coming back and i think we can. We clicked pretty good this last week with him because he is a mega dork like me and loves wizards and dragons! hahah he has read wheel of time and sword of truth and all those other fantasy books i love so much. so we talked alot about those and 2 of his daughters are even named after characters in the sword of truth series! Rachel and Kahlan, haha holy cow you have to tell joel about that one its hilarious.
ANd then on saturday i put on a special halloween district meeting, and we were all able to dress up as much as we could. Haha it was pretty sweet, i dressed up as the brawny man and i had my paper towels and i took some sweet manly pictures next to the fire. haha i'll be sending those home and you'll love them. Elder Cox and cook dressed up as nephi and the sisters were fairies... lame. haha we had the meeting up at high acres and it was pretty awesome. So i had a pretty good halloween weekend. :)
How was trick or treating with maddux and reese!? I am sooooooooooo jealous, i would have loved to gone and done that with little batman haha. THose 2 little kids are so cute and i can't wait to see what little Vander is going to look like. :)
THe work here is still going great. we found 4 solid new investigators this week and things are going well with the people we are already working with. Maria still has her baptismal date for nov 13th and she is still on for that, and Jacinda johnso quit smoking 5 days ago and she is still smoke free!!!!! woo hoo thats amazing, we have been working with her for 3 months and this is the longest she has gone and i think she is pretty much done with them. :) so pray for her, she'll need all the extra help she can get. And yesterday in church we confirmed Chris, and that was really cool.
I'm sorry to hear jessica was doing so bad after her surgery. thats not good, but atleast she is doing better now and it will be good that those tonsils are out anyways you know? Just tell sam to keep her chin up and everything will be ok, her friends are losers but she has the best family in the world. Haha and mom give austin a call because i know he will help you with your computer or atleast help you get set up witha new one ok? I am staying here in Geneva again for my 3rd transfer, i am way pumped about that. I really wanted to stay here, because i kinda feel like there is still more i need to do here. And guess what else, now I am the Zone Leader this transfer for the Palmyra South Zone, and guess what else?! THey are having me train a brand new elder too! haha holy moly i am going to have some stuff to do this next transfer, especially with traning the new elder but it'll be a blast. I am way excited. And Elder Westley is going to be the new assistant to the president, so he is way excited for that, and i am happy for him. :) I honestly couldn't be more happy for the next upcoming transfer, i really wanted to stay here again, and it'll be fun training a new guy, and i'll get to go check up on alot of the other areas being a zone leader which will be mega fun.

Haha you guys are nubs and need to get a new computer!!! haha or just go to the library and ask for a guest pass. You guys should go do that, you get to use the computer for free! It's what i do and i love it. Thanks for writing me a letter anyways on jessica's phone mom, you're the best. :) So my week has been really good. Kinda interesting actuallly. Earlier this week one of Elder Cook's and Elder Westley's old investigator died, so that was really sad. Elder Cook had a baptism date with her for this sunday, but her cancer came back like crazy and her lungs collapsed. :( It was super sad, since i have done quite a bit of exchanges with the elders that were teaching her, i had been around her a bit too, and it is just wierd to know someone we were teaching and around is now gone from here. The last funeral i had been to was grandma maxine, and that was forever ago. And i was so young that i didn't really even understand what was going on you know? Elder Cook gave the eulogy for the funeral and he did awesome, they loved him like crazy. And it turned out great. :)
Anyways enough for some bummer stuff. SO Chris's baptism went through on sunday!!!!! :D It was amazing mom, haha i took some pictures and i'll be sending them home next week for the next transfer. So if you guys are sending anything, just send it to the mission office, since i could possibly be moving. Haha alrigh back to the baptism. It was amazing, a ton of people from the ward showed up so we were way happy about that. ANd we were a little stressed because we couldn't find a ride for his gma to church, or a piano player for the service. So i just prayed and asked Father, hey you know we have done all we could you know, and we have been working real hard with chris, we came and had to scrub the baptismal font for a couple hours it was so gross, and we just want this to be good for him, will You help us out and bless us with a piano player and that his gma can get a ride.
So i asked him that, and it was amazing, chris's gma showed up, and we got someone who played the piano for us because she said the spirit was telling her to do it! How epic is that, Heavenly is amazing. And so is Jesus. I love it mom, being able to be a part of his baptism, to baptize him, and see what Jesus has allowed for everyone. i mean really i could see the changes in his life that are coming up for his good choices and following Christ's example. It is soo epic to be a part of this work to literally brings souls to salvation to the Lord. I mean there isn't anything better than that. :)
SO that was good, and we got to go to palmyra again with some spanish lady and jose from our ward. it was awesome, she totally loves it, and has a baptismal date for nov 13th. And it was so funny elder westley and i went through the grove with her, and jose had to go get something in town. so we get out and jose isn't there... so i call him, and he thought we left so he was driving home! He totally left us there haha. But he came back luckily and picked us up.
So i have had a great week mama, and tell joel he must be emailing the wrong person because i haven't gotten an email from him in fooooorever! But i love you mom and have an awesome week. I haven't frozen yet, and thanks for the package! I am wearring my shoes right now and already using the coat! Thanks mom i love you!

I'm doing amazing, how are you doing mom? And yes i am pretty cold haha. Man for 4 days this week the high was 51! That's nuts! haha holy cow it is really starting to get cold here and it usually rains when its cold too so the snow is going to be starting up soon for sure too. Holy cow i am scared haha. But thats alright, i'll have to deal with it because i'm going to be in western New York for the next 2 years. Haha not gonna lie though i am a little scared...i'm gonna freeze my butt off. Thanks for sending that package too mom, i hope you didn't think i was rushing you for it. I'm super excited to get my coat and hoodies and shoes though, its going to be amazing. Yeah i'll get some thermals here no problem, and when you do get the chance to get the thermal garments you can just get a few of them and stuff since i'll be getting some extra thermals to have. Yeah and don't worry i am buying and getting all the stuff i can so i will be warm for the next while. And don't worry i got some nice snow boots too already that are water proof and black, so i'll be able to wear those all over. they will be way nice too, especially if i am in a walking area! I have gotten some nice wool socks too and a few sweaters, i got a really nice one from megan! She is amazing. :) and i got a couple pair of gloves, a couple beanies, and a couple scarves. So i am just kinda getting what i can so i won't be an icecube haha.
SO things are going amazing with Chris. He is still on for the 24th, and we have everything almost set up and ready for it. I am so happy for him it is going to be so amazing, Elder Westley and I are doing all we can so he has an amazing experience for his baptism. All the youth form the church will be there, a ton of his family and friends are coming, and a few of our other investigators plan on coming too so things are just going to be awesome for him. I'm so happy for him, and its awesome mom, i love how happy and complete the gospel can make peoples lives. His mom is so happy he is being baptized and that they can be together forever, she just cries everytime she thinks and talks about that. Man its sooo amazing, we are so blessed to be a part of Christ's church again on the earth. I love it. :)
Things with greg are ok haha. Man that guy is crazy, the other day we went over there and it got mega weird, he started busting out and talking in tongues and stuff.... mega awkward. Haha and the even more awkward part was that he wanted us to try it too! SO we are kinda keeping our distance from that guy a little bit now, he is really nice, but its kinda sketchy haha.
Frank is still doing awesome. We had a really great time with him yesterday at church, and we went to the sacred grove and the Joseph Smith farm house with him again this weekend and it was awesome. Haha how cool is it that i can take my investigators to the exact spot where all this church history actually happened?! I mean i can say, well joseph smith saw Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ, hmmmmm right here. He saw the angel moroni, hmmmm right here in this room. He recieved the golden plates, hmmmm right here. Haha and even more! THe book of mormon, well that was published and sold, here! And hmmmm the church was reorganized right here! Holy cow its epic! Hahah i love it so much and being able to use those resources rock.
So we had a big huge mission wide meeting this week. And some serious stuff went down. There are a bunch of bum missionaries out here, so the President got everyone together and said, if you aren't going to be obedient and work hard, i am going to send you home next week. THen he told us to go to the sacred grove to pray and see where we are at. And it was awesome because i already knew, hey this is where i am supposed to be and i'll do whatever i have to to be here. So it was mega intense for some people and he is having interviews with everyone next week to see who is staying or going. But you don't have to worry about me momma. :)
I am so glad sam is alright, i was way worried about her i'm not gonna lie. That is so good. And i am glad jessica can finally get her nasty tonsils out hahah. I bet she is pumped too. And that is sooo sweet that maddux got to sleep over, and i totally knew he was going to be batman! I loved hearing him ask about me and carrying my picture around. I miss that little guy so much, haha he literally is one of my best friends. :)
Hmmm lets see if i remember a couple of the questions you asked. Yes i actually cook for myself now and clean like everything, you would be proud. I am very tidy and clean out here, i do my dishes, cook my food, do all of it! I like being district leader, haha its a little wierd be a dl over a district of only sisters, but its all good. Hmmm new and exciting?! THis last week and weekend were the best of my mission, it was awesome! ALright i will start with Chris Jensen.
So Chris is having his baptism on the 24th of October! Everything is going great with him. We go over about once a day right now just to make sure things are still going well. He is way pumped for his baptism and he wants me to be the one to baptize him. I am totally honored by that kid for wanting me to do it, i am way excited for him and i am happy i'll get a chance to be a part of a baptism! It will be amazing, he has been so good, he has come to church 4 weeks in a row, he is reading in the book of mormon and he is saying his prayers and things are just going really well for him. And he is starting to make good friends with the youth in this ward too, especially with sam egan. And they are having a sleepover this weekend with all the deacons to play xbox and just hang out, that will be perfect for chris, he loooooves videogames. So keep him in your prayers, ok?
Alright next is this new spanish lady we met named Maria. She is hilarious, she grew up with her mom speaking english and her dad speaking spanish, so she can really speak either of them very well so she just kinda does a combo of both. Haha its awesome. So anyways we just starting teaching her last thursday, i think, and she has already been reading what we asked of her in the book of mormon and she came to church! That is sooo huge, so many people never go to church. And we had another appt with her on sunday afternoon, and she is loving it. We taught about the gospel of Jesus Chirst, and she has a baptism date now for Nov. 13th. She is amazing and she really likes church and wants to be a part of it. She is a nice old lady who lives alone and has to work since her husband died, and this gospel will help her out so much. So keep Maria in your prayers too!
And next is my favorite part of the last weekend. Greg Jackson, like one of my favorite investigators ever, was at church with us too! Hahha and the crazy thing is, he was in jail this week too! Haha man he was falsely accused for some drug crimes and was released, and we asked him to come to church with us and he did. ANd since it was testimony meeting, he bore is testimony about how amazing the missionaries are and how elder westley and i became not just his freinds but we are his brothers. it was epic, and everyone loved him, and he loved it hard. So keep Greg in your prayers too, he is a really good guy, he has a rough past, but we are working with him.
And on sunday night too was Elder Cooks 21 bday, so we threw a suprise bday for him, and we owned him with silly string and everything. it was aweomse. haha jess would love elder cook, and he lives in mesa, and he come home in 3 weeks!
That is soo coool you guys keep finding time to hang out with megan. I bet she loves it, and i love it, and i bet you guys love it hard. Haha how about you tell my bum brothers to write me some emails! I have heard from joel i think 3 times and drew once! haha they are noobs. I loved that little story about Reese, man she sounded soooo dang mad! You gotta get me some pictures of Maddux's new room, that has to be awesome. And don't worry sam is in my prayers everynight, all you guys are, no lie i can't say a prayer without thanking heavenly father for the amazing family he sent me. So don't worry you are always in my prayers. I am doing pretty much amazing haha, and yes i had a great week! it was kinda a crazy different week because I was on an exchange for 3 days with elder cox from canandaigua and then we had conference this weekend so I was all over the place and then had a nice rest this weekedn for conference! Elder Cox is a nice quiet farm boy kid from idaho, haha he is mega quiet so when we were in Geneva i took him over to this crazy pentecostel guys house. It was hilarious, you have heard me talk about him before i think, his name is greg Jackson. It was so funny mom, soo we meet in the cellar of his house which he calls his "war room". Haha it is called that because it is the room where he wages war against satan! haha he is a goober but a nice guy. SO we met down there in the war room with frank and him and we were doing a bible study of the book of daniel. So that went well and then it came time to the end of our lesson with him and it was time for prayer. So he likes to hold hands, and we were all holding hands, and he starting praying, and he got louder and louder and praising jesus and shouting to the heavens, hahhaha and then frank over on the other side is starting it up too, thank you jesus, praise thee jesus, haha and i felt bad but i couldn't hold it in anymore and i just started busting up laughing during the middle of the prayer! Hhaha and since i started busting out elder cox couldn't hold it in any longer and he started busting out laughing. Holy cow that was funny but i felt kinda bad, so i told him i just got the spirit of laughter and i couldn't hold it in so he didn't feel bad. ANd he totally took that because the pentecostels believe in the sprit of laughter so i was totally safe. You should have been there you would have loved it, soooooooo funny how crazy some people are out here. He is a great guy though, and that kinda burst elder cox's bubble so that was good.
SO new with the work right now is we found a spanish farming family outside of geneva we are working with! I am so happy and grateful, they are from mexico too so i can actually understand their spanish! My spanish still isn't great at all but it is getting better and the spanish people are so nice they help me out if i don't know a word or something. But its great working with Leo and Daniella and their girls, so i am very grateful the Lord put them in our path. :) THe baptism for the 9th however is not going through. It is sad, we went over to Ray's place on monday, he had quit coffee and had been off cigs for 3 days, and we come over and he says he broke, he is smoking again and its too hard right now and he'll have to find a better time in his life to quit... That was tough, i'm not gonna lie, but we are still trying to work with him. SO pray for him he needs it!
DOn't worry about taking too long to send off stuff i'm fine, it is definitly getting colder here but i have bought nice gloves and beanies and socks and scarfs and some sweaters too. So as long as i just get that coat and those garments i'll be fine i got the rest of the stuff i need here. :) They don't have a distribution center here so it would be best if you could get me some and send them. It is totallly rainin like crazy here and last week on thursday literally all our appts fell through so we had to go tracting out in the rain and we got soaked... that was amazing... not haha. We do have walgreens around here, how would we set that up so i could get my prescriptions there? ANd that would rock and you could call the mission office if you need to figure it out or maybe they might even let you call me!
Our plans for pday are pretty much regular stuff and then we are going to play dodgeball, man i am pumped for that because we are going to play with the sister missionaries and i am going to pwn them. haha i'm pumped. I'm feeling great, i get headaches every once in a while but i haven't been sick yet.

SO new with the work right now is we found a spanish farming family outside of geneva we are working with! I am so happy and grateful, they are from mexico too so i can actually understand their spanish! My spanish still isn't great at all but it is getting better and the spanish people are so nice they help me out if i don't know a word or something. But its great working with Leo and Daniella and their girls, so i am very grateful the Lord put them in our path. :) THe baptism for the 9th however is not going through. It is sad, we went over to Ray's place on monday, he had quit coffee and had been off cigs for 3 days, and we come over and he says he broke, he is smoking again and its too hard right now and he'll have to find a better time in his life to quit... That was tough, i'm not gonna lie, but we are still trying to work with him. SO pray for him he needs it!

9/27 email
I am doing amazing, how are you doing?! I did mom i had an amazing birthday it was a ton of fun. We went bowling with some other elders and frank, so it was kinda like my bday's at home so that was awesome. Haha and how about this you are going to love it, alright so you know how someone made me a bday cake for my birthday? Well we get over there and i am way excited for it, and it turned out to be a lemon tart pie thing! Holy crud, i kinda wanted to barf, and the worst part was that i had to eat it in front of them and be nice, and say mmmmm this is sooo good. Mom hahah it was so gross that i got shivers down my spine everytime i had to take a bite. Ewwww haha but it was super nice of them to have made me anything for my bday right? So that was really cool. Haha yeah and that goofy looking old guy in all those pictures is Frank. Yes and i finally did get all your packages! Thank you so much for the shoes mom, i'm sorry they cost so much, that kinda made me feel bad you spent so much money, but thank you momma. I love you. :) Haha and thanks for the peanut, holy cow! that toy pretty much looks exactly like peanut so it is perfect and made me way happy! haha and tell jess and sam thanks for the batman cup, lame gi joe card, and for the awesome Alabama tie. Haha another funny story, so i was way pumped to wear that alabama tie, and the 1st day i wear it, when i went to sit down to eat dinner i dipped my tie on accident all over my greasy asian chicken. So i kinda love ruining a brand new tie on the 1st day, sorry jess haha! But i cleaned it pretty well so its not as noticeable.... awkward.

That is good sam is going in to go get surgery, and that jessica will finally get those nasty tonsils out haha. I remember when she use to poke them with qtips and talk about them, and everytime she did i kinda wanted to barf. Haha i love you jess! But those are gross, so i am glad dad is helping out and they can be taken care of. Haha i think that story about Maddux may be one of the funniest things i have ever heard in my entire life! Haha Maddux is such a stud, and i bet drew got in so much trouble from tarah! Haha holy cow i can just see maddux saying avatar is gay! Hahhaha i love that little dude, and i love Reese so much too! I can't wait to see and hear about vander, i bet he is going to come out and just start punching people in the arm like joel use to love to do to me. I bet he is going to be just like joel. I am excited for halloween, o wait i'm not haha we have to stay in and not really do anything that night.
But i am super pumped about general conference. Because it gives me a chance to sit around for hours watching tv and it is totally kosher. No bad feelings haha just getting spiritually fed from the prophet and the apostles! Holy cow i can't wait for that it will be amazing. Oh just wondering you guys haven't sent off my winter stuff yet right? Just wandering, you still have some time to send it. :) I love you guys soo much, and you wanna hear something kinda cool. I am the district leader this transfer! Kinda cool, i am excited and it is fun to plan the meetings and see how everyone in the district is doing and i can arrange exchanges now too if my companion is driving me crazy! haha jk jk. Hmmm lets see anything else cool go on this week, well Ray Johnson has quit drinking coffee and almost the cigs too, so he is right on track for his baptism on oct. 9th He is amazing, keep him in your prayers. Well i'm sorry i know don't every give the best emails but things are going well here. I'm really happy to be here again and that's really cool. 9/20 email BABY BO BO'S BDAY!!!
Holy cow, i am no longer a teenager anymore! Haha isn't that kinda amazing?! And its kinda nice to, because i can say I'm at least in the same age group as Megan, haha so now i don't seem so young right?:) I am already having an amazing bday. First we went to the temple with elder cook and stoker. Wow the Palmyra temple is awesome mom. We all have to come back sometime and go there. It is sooooooo small but it is awesome. It is the only temple with see through glass, and you can see right out to the sacred grove from the temple. It is sweet. And the celestial room in Palmyra is my favorite one i have been too. It is awesome there are stained glass all around of trees to make it look like the sacred grove. It was pretty much amazing. Man i love the temple. :) And then after that we went to this pizza place called nima's right in Palmyra. And it was mega good. Haha i loved it, and i went to this church store there and bought a replica 1830 book of mormon, and 1835 doctrine and covenants. They are pretty amazing. And now i am emailing you, and after this we are all going to go out bowling, and frank is coming along too with another one of our investigators. And then we dinner tonight at the wyatts at 6, and then the baker family is having me come over at 730 for my bday cake! Haha so i have got a pretty amazing bday planned. I am so happy and grateful for everyone that is making this day so good for me. :)
I haven't gotten your packages yet, but i have been in canandaigua all day and won't get home till tonight! But i bet they are there. I got the package from gma and gpa, haha and i was so pumped for the pink cookies and the memory card. That was very nice of them. Oh and for transfers, i am stayin here in Geneva for another 6 weeks with Elder Westley again. I am pretty excited about that, i wanted to stay here for sure. Elder Westley is a pretty cool guy, he has been out on his mission for about 13 months now and he is from virginia. We work really well together so that really good. Haha we are tryin our best working with Chris the 13 year old but something crazy happened with his family this last week. Now his brother is in jail and all this crazy stuff, so things are a little rough over there but we are still working with him. Ray and Jacinda Johnson are doing amazing! They have both quit smoking now, and are at church every week and read and pray together every day. They are doing so amazing and Rays baptism date is still for October 9th! I know he'll make it and those 2 working together is just awesome. They want to go to the temple and get sealed together pretty bad, and i think that is something they will be able to do real soon. :) Yup and of course Frank is still taking care of us like always haha. He is amazing mom. He is really like the most Christlike Person i have ever met in my entire life. SO he is looking out for us and taking good care of us.
Well i am glad i finally heard something about sam. You guys had me worried for a little bit. But things will be ok, and you guys will have to keep me posted with everything that is going on with her. Haha i am finally sending pictures home today since i got the new memory card, sorry for being a bum with sending the pictures, but i think you will like these. I'm glad too that jess went to church with megan, and that you guys got to go have dinner with drew and tarah again. How is maddux my little buddy, and how is reese the little cutie?! I love them so much.
Alright momma i will give you some love extra little help with the ward. I'm sorry that things are different now since everyone is kinda gone, and things may be a little different with shauna, but all of that doesn't matter just like you said mom. It is not about all the relationships and friends at church, they are very important and the ward should be reaching out, but it all boils down to your relationship with God, momma. He loves you so much, and he wants you there and he wants you to be happy. :) Start going with a fresh outlook at it, don't think about the family not being there or not having as many friends there, but go looking for personal revelation! Like have a question and pray about it, and have faith and know that going to church you will receive and answer and just feel better. I'm sorry mom i know it is tough sometimes, but you can do you are the bomb haha. Mom i feel like a stripling warrior, you have been the best mom in the world and have taught me pretty much all i know. And because of you i don't doubt or fear because you taught me to go to church. So just keep being amazing alright? Read Alma 56:47-48. That's about the amazing moms.
I'm sorry i know i never give enough good details about what is going on but sometimes it is so hard to remember, keep asking questions like in the beginning so i have to think to answer those! 9/13 email
Haha i'm doing pretty amazing. I caught a lame head cold the last couple days but i am finally pulling out of it so i am pretty dang happy about that. :) Yeah we have been working hard up here and doing what we can with the people of Geneva and it has been awesome. I love it here. Isn't that crazy i have been out here for almost my whole first transfer!! It is insane, it has gone by way quick for me. Haha i know i have only been out a little longer than 3months but it seems like it hasn't been long at time and other times its like hmmmm 3 months haha. But i love it hard. I don't have the biggest idea of what is going to happen for me next transfer, but i have a pretty good feeling i am going to be staying where i am at right now, and i wouldn't mind that a bit. But who know they could send me off to Buffalo and i could love the warm winter there! Haha that place would be so cold, and it is a walking area too! But wherever i get sent i am ready to go and will love it there. Hmmm my plans for this pday are actually kinda nice, we are going take it easy. Get all our laundry, shopping and errands done, and then just go to the Victor Mall so i can buy the rest of my winter snerf. Well i have seen the palmyra temple, but i haven't gone it yet! We are going to go do that for my bday next week for pday, that is going to be amazing. Haha nah don't worry about sending that furry hat for the winter up here, just send that brown beanie if you can find it. probably send my high tops up since it will be winter, they could keep me more warm!
Hmmm as for snerf for my bday from everyone.... i wouldn't mind some sweat pants, another hoody, some slippers, haha i'm not sure. Anything wintery or ties would be awesome. ALright let me tell you some interesting stuff that went on this week. So for the first time i ran into someone who kinda hated us and tried to rip us a new one... It was kinda interesting let me tell ya. There is this street In geneva called Dorchester, its in a pretty bad part of town, and we went up to this black guys porch and he just laid it down us. I won't tell you all he said but it was kinda weird. Its sad because we just wanted to make his life better you know and bring him the gospel, but his heart was just sealed right up. I wish these people could realize what they are missing out on you know? Thats too bad.
Hmm lets see a good story to make up for that one. Haha ok so there is this crazy black lady who lives on hoffman st. Her name is Alasha, and she is kinda wierd. We were teaching her and telling here all about what the missionaries do and some of the things we don't do so we can focus more on the Lord. Haha and mega awkward, she was all upset we had to spend 24/7 together with our companions, because she wanted to invite me over one night to have dinner and spend the night... yup. So we were kinda like hmmmm, well it was nice talking to ya, see ya later? Haha wow that was hilarious and terrifying at the same time.
So our investigators are doing good. Frank and Ray Johnson especially. Chris the 13 year old isn't doing the best. His attitude has just like turned 180 and it is so weird. But we are doing all we can to work with him you know? SO haha i promise this week i am sending off my pictures since it is the last week of the transfere, just send me my old memory card so i can take pics on my bday! Well i love you guys so much and i hope this letter wasn't too lame, haha i'm just not sure what to tell sometimes! Momma i love you so much, i just want you to know that. 9/7 email
Yeah that was pretty amazing to have another chance to talk to you on the phone so soon! I'm sorry if i rushed off real quick but the mission president let me call from our cell phones, and we don't get very many minutes each month and i didn't want to get distracted! haha oh man i could have talked to you guys forever. So if you ever see a phone number with 315 answer because that is a New York area code. SO things are going great here in Geneva mom. Sorry i haven't been giving you much details, haha sometimes i don't know the things people want to hear about. Ok so we have a car, and it is the exact same car we have at home. The only difference is that it is silver, so it is easy to drive and i am used to it to. And our investigator frank got me and elder westley bikes that we can use too around this area so that is just pretty dang awesome. They are way nice bikes too! The only hard thing about using those bikes is, we live up at the top of the town and every investigator we have lives at the bottom. Haha so gettin there is easy but coming up, we are biking uphill for a couple miles, and yeah that kinds stinks let me tell ya.
Its not very humid here right now, but fall is already here. its in the 70's or the 60's now and the leaves are starting to change thier colors too. It is so pretty out here mom, you would love it. I have taken a ton of pictures and i am sending those home on monday, i just forgot to yesterday so you'll have to wait another week. Sorry momma. but could you guys send me my other memory card so i can have it here when you have my other one?
Things are going pretty well here too now mom. It is awesome. We are meeting with this couple, Ray and Jacinda Johnson, and they rock. Jacinda is an inactive member and her husband isn't a member. they both live in this sweet trailer park, haha, and we go over there alot. Ray Johnson now has a baptismal date for oct 9, and his wife and him have come to church and have been saying their prayers and reading the scriptures together. They are amazing and they both want to get married in the temple so bad so they can be together forever, and not just for here. I know they will get married in the temple in the future and that will be awesome! They both have pretty bad smoking problems but they are working on that and they are doing really well.
Another Kid we are working with is Chris. He is 14 years old and he is so cool He is just this little goofy kid, but he loves he mom so much and his family. His mom and brother and sister were baptised a few months ago, and he has seen them change alot for the better and now he wants us missionaries over to start teaching him. He loves it sooo much, and he already has a testimony of joseph smith and this being the true church! And he wants to be baptised too so he can be with his family and live a better life. they have had a tough life, haha holy cow, his mom has 6 kids and all of them are from a different dad. And they live in govt housing and are pretty poor but they are awesome. I love seeing how happy the gospel can make people mom. It is just awesome.
Oh sooo my bday is coming up, you should send me my vans up here so i just have some regular chill shoes for pday instead of just those sneakers. That would pretty much be amazing. And last week i went to the EB Grandin building, the hill cumorah, and the sacred grove again. And we went around palmyra too. WOw mom those places are awesome, we all need to come out here and take a trip sometime because the spirit is soooo stong and its amazing to be here where all this stuff actually happened! A couple words that we use around here is snerf. haha thats a word pretty much for anything like, what is all that snerf about? And another one is womp, and it is junk food. We have so many fat missionaries here it is crazy. So whenever they want to get fat they say lets go eat some womp! Those are a couple fun words to use. I have become good buddies too with elders Stocker, and Cook too they are just amazing and i love them soo much. We see them all the time at district meeting and stuff and they are cool. We did a companion exchange and i was with Elder stoker for a couple days. That was nice getting a little break from elder westley haha.

Its not very humid here right now, but fall is already here. its in the 70's or the 60's now and the leaves are starting to change thier colors too. It is so pretty out here mom, you would love it. I have taken a ton of pictures and i am sending those home on monday, i just forgot to yesterday so you'll have to wait another week. Sorry momma. but could you guys send me my other memory card so i can have it here when you have my other one?
Things are going pretty well here too now mom. It is awesome. We are meeting with this couple, Ray and Jacinda Johnson, and they rock. Jacinda is an inactive member and her husband isn't a member. they both live in this sweet trailer park, haha, and we go over there alot. Ray Johnson now has a baptismal date for oct 9, and his wife and him have come to church and have been saying their prayers and reading the scriptures together. They are amazing and they both want to get married in the temple so bad so they can be together forever, and not just for here. I know they will get married in the temple in the future and that will be awesome! They both have pretty bad smoking problems but they are working on that and they are doing really well.
Another Kid we are working with is Chris. He is 14 years old and he is so cool He is just this little goofy kid, but he loves he mom so much and his family. His mom and brother and sister were baptised a few months ago, and he has seen them change alot for the better and now he wants us missionaries over to start teaching him. He loves it sooo much, and he already has a testimony of joseph smith and this being the true church! And he wants to be baptised too so he can be with his family and live a better life. they have had a tough life, haha holy cow, his mom has 6 kids and all of them are from a different dad. And they live in govt housing and are pretty poor but they are awesome. I love seeing how happy the gospel can make people mom. It is just awesome.
Oh sooo my bday is coming up, you should send me my vans up here so i just have some regular chill shoes for pday instead of just those sneakers. That would pretty much be amazing. And last week i went to the EB Grandin building, the hill cumorah, and the sacred grove again. And we went around palmyra too. My week went pretty well. Things are going great out here in Geneva. We had quite a few investigators this week that don't really want us around anymore but thats all good, because we found a few others that we are going to start working with this week, so things are still going on. We are still working with frank, he is amazing. And we are working with this guys named Jeremy, who owns horses and is kinda a country dude, and we are also working with this couple Ray and Jacinda Johnson who are awesome. They are way cool, and they have a shi-tzu that looks exactly like peanut! haha it makes me so happy to see that little dude. They are really great and they are wanting to get baptised, we are setting up a baptismal date next time we see them. They both just have a really bad smoking problem, so we are going to have to work with that, but it'll work and they can quite if they really wanna be baptised you know?
We were out tracting yesterday and we met this puerto rican guy named carlos. He is 20 years old, so pretty much my age. And it was so cool he just had us come right on his porch and talked with us. Haha let me tell you that is rare, every either says we're catholic we don't need you, haha or somethin else happens. So anyways, we were talking to him and he just wants a change in his life. Mom it is so sad to see how some peoples lives are out here. He was telling us how tired he is of doing the same old bad things, drugs, smoking, drinking, parties, bad things with girls. And when he first moved here too he got beat up real bad and got stabbed real bad too. Things are rough and its just so sad to see people who live in that crap. And he told us he wants a family, a wife and kids, and wants to go to church and just have a normal life, and it's awesome to know that through the gospel of Jesus Christ that's possible and we can help him get what he wants.
So in rochester last week we went and just visited the president and the we went and played basketball for a while with all the elders in the Palmyra and rochester area. It was a blast. Haha how about i have lost even more weight and am gettin more muscle, i don't even weigh in the 190's anymore! I love it hard. My companion Elder Westley is cool, haha he is a little different than a person i would normally have hung out with but he is nice. He loves to sleep and takes naps, haha so i do my best to make sure we are busy so he doesn't just go take a nap. It's real cool to because President Christianson is doing all he can to make this mission better, there have been a lot of things going on here with some people that hasn't been good, but he is taking care of it and making sure everyone is being productive and being what missionaries should be. :0
It is a little warm this week but it'll start getting cooler soon. Just send me the coat, the garments and just maybe a sweater or 2, and i'll buy the rest here ok? That'll just make it alot easier and won't cost as much with all that shipping. And there is a mall out in either waterloo or Seneca falls i can go to get what i need. :) I'm sorry shauna isn't working with you anymore that is mega lame! But atleast you got a job right? And tell sam she rocks and she needs to keep up the grades that is amazing. And have here be careful so she doesn't really jack her knee up! Yeah tell jess to not to worry about going to that singles ward if Jarrett is there, he will just create problems for her. What about a university ward? Haha I love hearing about Reese and Maddux, i love those two little guys so much. And i'm sorry you don't get to see joel or kasey much anymore, i will remember those family nights we had for the rest of my life, those were some of my favorite experiences we have had together as a family. :) Can you belive i have been out here for 3 weeks already! thats halfway through my first transfer! i love it hard. So things are going well mom, i can't really think of anything i would really need besides that coat and the garments and those sweaters, because i can get everything else i need here. And before i go mom i have a scripture i found for you that might make you feel better. I remember you telling me that you feel really bad and wish you could have paid tithing that whole time we barely had any money but you just couldn't. Mom you don't have to worry about that just read this scripture Mosiah 4:24 ( and the first sentence of 25 till guitless). Mom you didn't have the money but you had the heart and the desire to do it, so you are good. And you don't have to worry about that, ok? :) Just do what you can now. Haha how are you doing?! That is awesome that you got to go up to utah to see how grandma and grandpa were doing. I'm glad they are both doing well, and that grandpa will finally be back to work, that is good. :) My week has been great. We got a lot of work done this week, and met a lot of new people who we can start working with. Haha this is a little funny story i got to tell you. Ok so we met the black old guy named bernie, kinda like bernie mac, and he listened to us and told us to come back some time. So we came back, and he wasn't home so we just left him a note and told him that we would be back some time later. So we stopped by again, and rang he doorbell. You hear him say, " Holy crud, (then we walks part way down the stairs), who;s there?!" We say its us the missionaries. haha " Then he says its a terrible day for me boys you'll have to come back some other time" THen he starts moaning and groaning real loud like, ooooooooowwwwwww ooooooohhhh, ahhhhhhhhhhh, he did it like 3 times and we were already walking away and he kept moaning. It was pretty funny, its like dude, we were already leaving you down need to howl like dog, it was sooo funny. Out of all out investigators right now we only have 2 white people and they rest are black or Puerto Rican.
Holy cow, puerto rican spanish is so dang hard to understand. We are teaching like 3 families in these housing projects, and it is tough. They speak so much more slurred and fast than any of the mexican workers around here. It hurts my brain, and i am trying my best but its kinda tough to understand and speak with them haha! Well sundays are sweet, we got to PEC meetings at 8, then we have church from 930-1230. Then we have the rest of the day to go meet and do our regular stuff. I'm not sure if i told you but i go to church at the Peter Whitmer Farm, its kinda epic.
The weather is already starting to cool down and i guess fall is starting early? The leaves are already changing colors and stuff, so get me thermal garments for sure. I wear 34 or 36 for bottoms and get me tall medium tops. IT has been raining the last few days and i am such a wimp to the cold haha. But its cool. Oh and the other day when we were teaching this lady named Alasha, it was so funny, we were in the middle of a lesson, and her friend pulled up, she walked out and bought some drugs right on the street during our lesson. Interesting let me tell you. haha wow, i love it hard. Geneva is sweet, i have taken a bunch of pictures and i'll send them home next week for you ok?
I'm glad to hear your class is well, and don't worry about Viki, i mean just look at her.... awkward. And I am so happythat sam and jess are doing so well too. I love hearing from you guys on monday, its amazing. So tell drew or joel to write me some time again too! My mission president is awesome mom, he really is. I am so lucky to be in this mission. It is pretty much the coolest place ever. So today for pday we are going to rochester and i'm not too sure whats going on there, but it'll be fun. Yeah i am eating well, and that Frank i told you about earlier always gets us groceries or food, so i'm good. :) Well i love you mom and i can't wait to hear from you again soon. 8/16 email NEW YORK BOUND!!
I am so pumped to be here and i love my life.
Alright my first week, it was pretty dang sweet let me tell you. I arrive in the mission home which is beautiful, it was huge too. We had dinner then talked just about mission rules and stuff for a bit, then we all had interviews with the President. He is amazing i love him already, and he is going to take good care of me so don't worry. Then on Tuesday morning we went the the Joseph smith farm and the Sacred Grove. Talk about amazing! I mean i was literally in the same place where Joseph grew up and where the angel Moroni appeared. And then even better i was in the same Grove of Trees that Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father appeared in. Wow. Those places are special let me tell you, you can just feel the spirit there so strong, and it was such a testimony builder. Then after that i got my companion. He is way cool, and a chill person. His name is Elder Westley, he is from Virginia, and is a little bit of a chubby guy, but there is nothing wrong with that right? My first area i am in is called Geneva, right by the huge long Fingers lake, and we meet at the Fayette building right next door to where the church was organized so that is cool! Oh yes let me tell you, it is as pretty as everyone says. Holy cow mom there are so many pretty yellow houses here i could see you living in, you would love it. The people here are so nice too, and they may not really let us in or are not very interest but they talk with us.
It is awesome mom, here we already have a guardian angel who is taking care of us. It is this 69 year old catholic man named Frank. He is amazing, holy cow i have never met a more Christ like person than him. He is always taking us out to dinner, he went out and bought us groceries and is way interested in the church. He is a single old man and he works up at some mansion for a bunch of nuns. He is way cool. He calls us every day, sees us everyday, and just likes to talk and figure things out. SO don't worry mom i got someone here who is really looking out for me. We are also teaching some big buff black body builder, haha wow he looks like matt but black, and his name is Greg Jackson. Way cool and he likes us. He is one of those holyrollers though so he is very interesting to talk to. Haha and yesterday while contacting on the street, i met a lady who had a beard, and her mom had a hardcore mustache, talk about attractive right? Haha i love Geneva. I love it. Its weird though, i am pretty much on an english speaking mission, the spanish is only used every once in awhile so i am kinda bummed. I have taught a few puerto ricans in spanish but not too much.
Humidity may be the worst thing ever. First day all we did was tracting and contacting and i sweat more than i have ever before in my life, i think i literally lost 10 lbs of water weight. Holy crap, that is going take some getting used to. My apartment is not bad, way old but thats ok, i'll take a ton of pictures and send them home ok. Love you all and everything here is going great. I love being a missionary, and i love finally being able to talk with real people not jsut others in the mtc. Talk to you soon, my pdays are mondays so thats way nice, we are going to go play some ultimate frisbee today, and i am going to rock.

Hey Momma!
Yeah i got your package and thanks so much, haha it was amazing i was sooo pumped. Thanks for remembering all the other stuff i needed too it was perfect. Haha yes i love my new winnie the pooh its pretty dang amazing to have it. And jess thanks for the madd hatter back. And mom the shoes fit perfectly! Thank you so much they fit so much better than the other 2 pairs i had did. They are the perfect size for my feet, thanks.
haha i'm not getting that buff, but there is quite a bit of difference when i am working out everyday you know? haha i kinda love it hard. Haha really you think i am no longer looking like baby bobo and now i'm a man?! I remember thinking the same thing when i saw pictures of joel from his missions,it made me sad but don't worry, i'm still the same haha. I am just being blessed with the spirit which is changing me in only better ways.
Yeah i have made some really amazing friends here mom i love it. Especially Elder grandy, simmons, smith, and sheperd. They are amazing and i know i'll be in contact with them for the rest of my life. Haha holy cow we have so much fun here with those elders it is a blast. i'm done with the mtc in a week! How cool is that? Wow i have no idea where the time went, it feels like i just got here a week ago. I am so dang ready to get going to New York!!!! I'm still the only spanish speaking elder going there, there are 4 other english speakers that are going there the same time as me, but i'll never be with them during my mission so i haven't really tried to get to close with those elders, and they are kinda different... haha.
Alrighty for my travel plans and my new address. My address for my entire mission will be the New York Rochest Mission home address in my mission call packet so look for that in there, i don't remember it. My mission presidetn is Jack R. Christianson. So this monday at 710 am i fly out of salt lake, to the chicago airport. And i have a 3 hour layover there so i will have plenty of time to call!! It says i get there at 11 10 but i'm not sure what time that is in arizona, so just expect a call and please answer your phone! And then i fly to rochester from chicago, and i am going to be in New York at 5! Pretty sweet right?, i am so dang pumped.
Tell Megan too about my layover, because i'll get a chance to call her too, so let her know today so she is pumped! Nope i don't need anything else before i head out but thanks for asking, i am going to be sending home though a big box of letters i want to keep, but weigh too much so i can't take them with me.

So when does school start for all you noobs out there, how is peanut? i love him hahah and you guys too of course. I'm so pumped to get going the mtc food here is terrible! I have lost about 5-7 pounds i am in the 180s now and i love it. Soccer still rocks, oh and tell joel gene r cook was here last week he would have loved it. I'm really excited and ready to go but for sure i am going to be missing some of the life long friends i have made here. I am still talking spanish like crazy every day, i am to the point now where i can teach about every lesson, and most other principles too. Its awesome, i'm not saying i know all spanish, but i have really been blessed with this language. It is so much fun to speak, and make fun of the new elders with who have now idea what we are saying haha its great. Wait till drew and i are doing this all the time at home. Alright everyone i lover you so much sorry i don't have any amazing stories this week, it was just another great week at the mtc and i am getting ready and pumped to enter the missionfield. Keep me in your prayers, i am pumped and have faith it'll be awesome, but i won't mind the extra help. For fhe go over the story of abinadi in mosiah 12-17 he was an amazing missionary and i want to be just like him when i get in the field. 7/26 email
Hey mom whats up?! My week has pretty much been amazing let me tell you that haha. I'm glad you and the girls liked the hlj rings i sent all of you, haha and i am glad you are wearing them, i wear mine all the time too. Thats soooo cool you guys got to babysit those cute little kids again last night, i am so jealous! How are they doing? Thats a bummer you haven't seen joel lately, that just means sometime we will all have to move out to gilbert so we can all live next to eachother right?
Awesome! I'm so glad you guys all had fun going over to see Megan, and watch her play. :) I have the best family in the world, you are are looking out for me i love it. She is amazing at the saxophone isn't she?! I love listening to her play, and haha thats also a nice note about the ring. ;) hahah
You not being a good missionary mom?! What kinda crud is that?! You rock! You email me everyweek and always have nice things to say. YOu are the best mom in the world and i love hearing about whats going on, i love you sooo much mom don't every worry about not sending much stuff, thanks for the shoes and all that other stuff too i was needing it. you are the bomb.... hahah. Haha awesome so does our house right now look like a hoarder house?! I love it hard! Haha you will all get it put away, have joel and drew help you. That's their job now since i'm not around to, because mom is always top priority, right?! Haha sam loves her life, she has to drive all the way to mountain pointe for 0 hour, what a loser! Wait a minute.... grandma got laid off?! I'm gonna come over there and beat down those cars salesmen, sooo lame. I'm happy though she has been able to stay home and take care of granpa i bet he really needs it. Elder giles is doing great, he is an awesome companion and me and him are great buddies now too, he doesn't feel sick anymore either. I'm doing great, there are ofcourse always bad days but who cares right? Who doesn't have those. I am so dang excited to be leaving for New York in 2 weeks, i can't wait! My spanish has gotten so much better it is incredible mom, honestly the gift of tongues is real!
I made a goal last week to not speak anything but spanish all day for the next 3 weeks int the mtc, and let me tell you it has been hard. But i can do it, because the lord is blessing me soooo much. If we put forth our effort and faith and show the lord that we'll do everything we can, he will give us anything we could ever need. I can teach the first 2 lessons in spanish now problem, but the awesome thing about preach my gospel is you are not just teaching lessons you are teaching people. I am really starting to learn how to discern needs and problems in peoples life and adapt my teaching to meet what they need in their life, thats what its al about right? And its crazy, they are implementing a new way of teaching again with preach my gospel in 2 weeks, so once i get in the mission field i'll have to learn a whole new approach again for teaching, i love it hard.
Mom, sam, jess, drew, joel, tarah, kasey, maddux, reese, and peanut... haha.. I want you all to know how much i love you guys. Holy cow without you all i don't know what i would do. I am so grateful for the plan of salvation, because i wouldn't want to tlive with anyone else, and we can all live with eachother forever, that is the greatest blessing of all. Don't worry that i'll be gone for 2 years because compared to eternity, its like i stepped out the front door to grab the mail and i came back. I need these 2 years sooo much, and i have already learned in 6 weeks so much i need to do to become a better missionary and person. So remember i love you guys, and i'll be home in no time!
Also this week i scored a goal in soccer, thats right, i rock, you don't need to tell me. Oh and mom y ou would be way proud of me, one of my pockets got ripped, and i totally sewed it back on and it looks fantastic... well doen'st look good but it works haha. I love you mom, you are being taken care of by angels and the lord, always remember that, never feel down ok? Promise? Haz Lo Justo! haha me gusta espanol much porque yo siento marravilloso cuando explico las leccions de Dios a los hijos de Dios! Hmmm not sure yet about my writing spanish yet.. awkward hahah. Alright later love you all and i will be able to call you the 9th for sure, i am getting my travel plans this friday!

6/28 email
Hey momma! And family! Well my week has been pretty good! It started out ok enough, but then sometime during the week I got this really crappy flu bug, and was hardcore sick for like a day, I went to the doctor got a blessing, and then I was all good. I just ended up getting some hardcore chills and a bad fever but now I’m doing all good. The Spanish is still going well; I have the conjugations down for the present, past, future, imperfect, and reflexives down.. I understand it a lot better than I can speak it, but I still have so much time, I really believe I’ll be doing great by the time I get out of here.. My soccer face has officially healed, and I am still the best goalie of all time, 5 games in a row without anyone scoring a goal on me haha..Alright my call should still have been in that plastic drawer on the top with everything for my mission, but if not mom I’m sorry I don't know where it is. I'm not gonna lie I am impressed you girls built so much stuff on your own that’s pretty flippin amazing if I say so myself.. Haha yeah no problem mom I love you and I hope you had a great bday, how old are you now 97? That’s awesome I miss Reese and maddux they are so cute, give them both kisses for me ok, and tell them uncle elder bo loves them.. Jess and sam are amazing, I knew they would be such a big helped, they will be mega blessed for helping you out so much.. I am so happy for you momma.. So is sam doing better with the idea of that place? Please tell jess to stay safe and chaste in Vegas ok hahahha holy crap that place is pretty scummy.. I would have cried to in toy story let’s be honest.. Awesome mom I can't wait to get my memory card back, and also yes I did get that pillow it is sooooooo comfy and I rub it in everyone’s face, I kinda love it hard.. Wow let me tell you about this week, I saw every apostle except henry b eyering and ucthdorf.. It was amazing, and I was selected for a special mission president seminar training, and jeffrey r holland was in the room over seeing it! hahah love it hard.. Dallin h oaks spoke at a devotional too and that was just sweet, he taught the entire first pmg lesson on the restoration, I kinda had my mind blown by the spirit.. Also this church is sooooo amazing, it is truly a living church, and the church is launching its new mormon.org and its going to be epic let me tell you.. It's pretty much facebook for the church to try and get the gospel to the world.. The lord knows what’s going on.. I also got to meet my mission president, he is amazing, President Christianson, and I leave august 9th, and there is only 1 other missionary in the whole mtc going to Rochester and she’s a sister! haha well momma I love you and I hope you love my letters, my companion and I are doing great together, he is funny, and I love elder smith and elder simmons..
